Cruisin' to the Caribbean!

We leave Kansas tomorrow for our cruise to the Caribbean! Thanks to my mama for getting us on this cruise :) We are sailing on the Oasis of the Seas. It is several times larger than the Titanic. "The ship features a zip-line, a casino,a mini-golf course, four swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, theme parks and nurseries for children."
Anyway, the cruise is four days and we are taking the babies with us along with my mom, Bob, brothers Ryan and Cody(yes Ryan is on leave right out of basic training and AIT), my grandma Carmen, Auntie Violet, cousins Kiana and CJ, and Uncle Guy. Whew! After the cruise, we fly back to California where Jason, the babies, and I will spend the remainder of our leave! Then back to good ol' Korea.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Jason's Scavenger Hunt Surprise!

We are in Kansas now visiting Jason's family. The day after we got here, he told me we have "an appointment" and to be ready by 9:30am. His brother, Nate and his wife, Stacy were also here visiting so they came too. Stacy and I were dropped off at a nail salon where we were told to get our nails done. We met up with Jason's friend, Matt, and his wife Jackie. So it was us three girls, not knowing what was going on, while the three boys left and told us to call when we were done.

We got our nails done, called, and were instructed to get lunch, then call. Ate lunch, called, now we had to go to the mall and buy something nice to wear along with shoes. So we headed to the mall and only had an hour and a half to find a dress and shoes. Another girl met up with us! Shellie! She had gotten off of work and was told by her husband James to go to the mall and meet up with us. We all found dresses and were then instructed to go to Shellie's house and be dressed and ready to go by 4:15 sharp! All of us had less than 45 minutes and we were scurrying around in Shellie's house.

As we waited on the couch to see what was happening next, a white limo pulls up to Shellie's house and out walks our husbands dressed handsomely with roses for each of us! We all pile in the limo and head to dinner at Granite City! It was such a nice dinner. Then the limo takes us to a nice movie theater where we had balcony seats! It was our own loveseat with seatheaters, a table, and our own call button to order food! We saw the movie 2012. After that, we headed home. What great husbands we have!!

Jason's Reenlistment!

Move over Army-- we'll be here for another 4 years..
Jason's reenlisted to be in the Army for 4 MORE YEARS!! Yes! This is a good decision on his part. He was considering getting out of the military, but I'm glad we made this decision to stay in. We want to stay in at LEAST 4 years so we can both finish our degrees and save more money before we our on our own in the civilian world. Jason wanted me to wait to spread the news, BUT.... we are getting stationed in GERMANY next!! Yes!! I am SOOO excited. This was our number one choice of where we'd be stationed next and we got it! So in May 2010 we'll be heading there next, folks! Feel free to come visit and stay with us!!

These are pictures from my friend's daughter's birthday party where she had a moonbounce. The kids had a blast.

Twins' First Halloween!

They dressed up as Dorothy and the Lion :) Instead of trick-or-treating, the church held a "Hallelujah Night" at the school gym. I volunteered to do the ring toss game. The babies and Jason came to hang out for a bit while I worked the game, then they got fussy. Before we went, we passed out candied apples that we made to our friends. It was a fun night! Fun and tiring for me playing with all those little kids.

A new discovered dislike...

I have discovered that not only do I dislike doing the dishes(which is my #1 most hated chore), but now I have found that I REALLY dislike-okay HATE- putting clothes away. Sure, I will thrown them in the washer, then dryer, and I even enjoy folding them! But putting them away...... nope! Won't do it! I let them sit on the couch for days and days until finally I give in or Jason puts them away. Why don't I just put them away? You ask? Not sure. I guess because I don't really go in the back bedrooms often in the day to make a trip with clothes back there. When I do, I always have a baby in my arms. Even at night, I am so tired from picking up 80,000 toys, folding up their blankets, dishes, picking up this and that, that I just want to go lay down. How about let's make it a rule that I will do the laundry and fold it, and Jason puts it away. How bout that Jas.
